The Blood Type Diet
Do you know your blood type?
This was a question that was constantly on my mind many years ago, which led me to a local health food store to get a blood type testing kit. Right before I was about to check out, a very help employee rushed over to ask if I’d like to purchase the book that went with the kit. Oh course I said yes, since I’ve always been eager to learn things about the body. It wasn’t until I got home that I even acknowledged what the book was actually about, even though it was titled, “Eat Right 4 Your Type“, by Peter D’Adamo. After talking myself up enough to finally prick my finger to complete the test, I began to read the book. I found out that I was O- and the best kind of diet for this type was the hunter and gather diet or as others would like to call “paleo”. After doing some research online, I found out that,”The Whole30 Diet” would be the best to start out with, since it essentially detoxes the body so that it runs of proteins instead of refined sugars. I did this for a few months and periodically on and off again while never fully committing to it.
As of January 2018, I finally decided that I loved myself enough to embrace eating right for my blood type(paleo) full time. I looked at it as a way of eating rather than a “diet”. Within a matter of five months, I release 45 pound without working out. I felt amazing and actually feeling emotions more, since I wasn’t putting GMO’s and processed food into my body that was full of hormones and preservatives. When many of my clients and friends as me how I’ve released so much weight, I simply tell them about the blood type diet. Then ask them what their blood type is to show them the app on my phone that tells you what food is best for them to eat and not eat. Surprisingly, they almost all naturally didn’t like a lot of the food that wasn’t beneficial for them.
Following this diet may seem difficult at first but the more you start incorporating it into your life the better you will feel and you’ll notice a better quality of life. Since I’ve been eating paleo for so long I’m very skilled in where to locate great tasting paleo product. If you like to know more about paleo, how to start it, find brands of food or what store carry them feel free to contact me and ask. If you are experiencing any certain illnesses or disease, a few diets to look into would be the KETO diet and eating alkaline.
